The Gelato Class - Sat. Feb. 28 from 12-3pm

$90.00

In this hands-on gelato class, we’ll dive into the art and science of true Italian-style gelato—simple, intentional, and deeply flavorful.

Using local milk, cream, and honey, we’ll create two distinct gelato styles from scratch:

  • Roasted Vanilla & Local Honey Gelato – warm, aromatic, and delicately sweet

  • Pistachio Gelato – rich, nutty, and beautifully balanced

Working with ice cream machines, you’ll learn the key differences between gelato and traditional ice cream—from ingredient ratios and fat content to churning techniques and serving temperature. We’ll focus on how thoughtful ingredients and proper technique create gelato that is smoother, denser, and more flavorful than ice cream.

Along the way, you’ll learn:

  • What defines authentic gelato

  • How milk, cream, sugar, and stabilizers work together

  • How to build flavor without heaviness

  • Techniques you can recreate at home

This is a fully hands-on class, designed to build confidence and understanding. We’ll finish by enjoying our freshly churned gelato together—because tasting is part of the lesson.

All ingredients, equipment, and recipes are provided.

No experience required—just a love of beautiful desserts and a curiosity to learn.
